Chive and Garlic Sauce
Smooth, creamy and delicious – who doesn’t love a good sauce accompanying their meat, fish or vegetables! In Austria, the classic is the freshly-made chive and/or garlic sauce which makes a huge difference to a meal and really completes the taste experience. - 250 g sour cream
- 1 pot of crème fraîche
- 1 dash of yoghurt
- 1 bunch of chives/4 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
Directions for Chive and Garlic Sauce
- Mix sour cream, crème fraîche and yoghurt ensuring that there are no lumps.
- Finally, chop chives and/or crush garlic and stir into the cream. Last but not least, season to taste!
The sauce can be served immediately although it tastes better if you let it stand for a bit.
